Fire Engineering Watch Commander

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Engineering Watch Commander to join our team at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. As a key member of our Prevention, Protection and Preparedness Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Fire Engineering team with complex submissions for building designs across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting people and projects to ensure effective delivery of fire engineering solutions
- Reviewing and liaising with external bodies and internal departments regarding fire engineering matters
- Providing leadership and partnership working skills to support the on-going changes within the SFRS
- Evidence of good leadership, partnership working and communication skills
- Demonstrating skills and qualifications within the specialist field of fire engineering
- Minimum of an Incident Command Level ICL1 qualification or equivalent
- Ability to evidence and demonstrate skills and qualifications within the specialist field of fire engineering
- Proactive and supportive approach to delivering changes within the SFRS
