As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic design team, working closely with experienced engineers. You will receive constant technical support to quickly gain knowledge and experience in fire engineering projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the fire engineering analysis of exciting projects involving new and existing buildings.
  • You will work on a wide range of buildings, including high-rise office buildings, large retail complexes, and airport developments, each providing unique challenges in developing an innovative fire engineering strategy.
  • You will analyze fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance, and smoke control using various methods, including computer modeling software such as Computational Fluid Dynamics.
  • You will prepare technical reports and liaise with clients, who include some of the largest building developers in the country.

 

Requirements:

  • You should have graduated within the last 2 years with a Masters Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or Physics.
  • You should have an excellent command of written and spoken English.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • A second European language is an advantage but not essential.
