Fire Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team at Hydrock, now Stantec. As a Fire Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering fire engineering design services to clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fire safety strategies for clients
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Design and analyze fire protection systems, including means of escape and evacuation analysis
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver fire engineering projects
  • Support the Director of Fire Engineering in implementing the company business plan
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a fire engineering consultancy, delivering fire strategy and fire safety consultancy services
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
