Commissioning Manager

About this role
The Commissioning Manager will play a key part in commissioning a range of health and care services across Bury Council and the NHS. Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding the needs of patients and customers
- Developing commissioning strategies, plans, and specifications
- Service design and improvement initiatives
- Contract management, assurance, and service evaluation
- Stakeholder engagement and management
This role will involve working closely with the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership on agreed health-related projects, including those focusing on community health and elective care commissioning.
