HS2 Ltd is a UK-based high-speed rail network that aims to improve capacity, shorten journey times, and boost the economy. We are currently seeking a skilled Railway Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering and technical aspects of track maintenance and asset management, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the railway system.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading or working in infrastructure maintenance or engineering teams, with a strong understanding of project management principles and application. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40750-£50950 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus flexible benefits and a range of exciting development opportunities.

This role sits within the Infrastructure Maintenance team, which forms part of the Infrastructure Manager organisation responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of the HS2 Routewide Infrastructure and Stations. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in delivering the technical aspects of track infrastructure maintenance and asset management, ensuring that all assets are safe, fit for purpose, and reliably enable the train service to run.
