Job Summary

As a Railway Engineering Team Manager, you will direct and inspire a team responsible for inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal activities on our network. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

You'll be responsible for establishing safety arrangements, checking the quality of work, and overseeing projects from start to finish. If you opt for the GTRM IMC25 contract, there may be requirements to work on call.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and inspire a team involved in railway engineering activities.
  • Establish safety arrangements and oversee project delivery.
  • Check the quality of work and ensure compliance with industry standards.

This is a safety-critical role that involves days, nights, and weekend working. You'll be subject to drug and alcohol testing and medical assessments to ensure your fitness for duty.

We offer an attractive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a range of benefits, including 28 days' annual leave entitlement, access to discounted shopping, and subsidies on rail season tickets.
