Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Railway Systems Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our contractual requirements for the maintenance and operational running of the new Aventra Class 730 Fleet are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate problems and diagnose potential train faults using Vehicle Maintenance Instructions (VMIs) and Vehicle Maintenance Procedures (VMPs).
- Provide on-train technical support and in-depth fault analysis and rectification.
- Functionally test train-borne systems with minimal supervision.
- Review and rectify test specifications and documentation for functional tests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong technical knowledge of railway systems and experience with VMI/VMP procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.What We Offer
