Senior Civil and Structural Engineer - Energy Sector

Due to project growth, the position of Senior Civil and Structural Engineer - Energy Sector has become available to join our successful team.

Costain provides engineering services to the Energy, Water, Transport, Nuclear, and Defence sectors, with over 300 engineers and designers across the UK. Our main engineering hubs are in Manchester, London, and Aberdeen.

We are growing our energy sector engineering team for UK projects in the energy transition and conventional oil & gas fields. We are keen to hear from candidates with significant experience acting in a Project Engineering Manager role on FEED & EPC projects for onshore brownfield oil & gas facilities, gas pipelines, and energy transition projects.

This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days based at the Manchester office with the option for dynamic working.

This position offers a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, in addition to a fantastic benefits package including a pension contribution matched up to 10%.

Role Requirements

  1. BEng MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10 years + experience.
  2. Experience working in multidiscipline teams in various stages of the project life cycle on major contracts in the Energy Sector.
  3. Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across a range of industries.
