Theatre Porter Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Theatre Porter. As a key member of our operating department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our theatres and supporting our healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- Escort patients between wards, departments, and theatres
- Clean theatre equipment, operating rooms, and associated areas
- Move and handle equipment used by Theatres and Sterile Services

Person Specification- Ability to work towards a Care Certificate or equivalent
- No previous experience, willingness to take instruction, and knowledge gained through on-the-job training
- Ability to work in an environment with blood and other body fluids, acting in an appropriate and supportive manner
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Flexible approach to working hours and practices
- Ability to treat all information confidentially
- Ability to work within a team and take instruction
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate information verbally
