About Our Client

Our client is a well-established retail brand with over 60 stores across the UK. They seek an exceptional Restaurant Manager to elevate customer experience in their store without evening work due to standard operating hours.

Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer experiences across restaurants - serving delicious food, maintaining high operational standards, and exceeding commercial targets.

  • You will oversee the fast-paced restaurant operation, taking responsibility for both kitchen and front-of-house activities.
  • You will lead a motivated team focused on delivering excellent customer experiences and driving sales growth.
  • You will ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • You will implement effective stock management controls to minimize waste and ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the restaurant operation, including kitchen and front-of-house activities.
  • Leading a motivated team focused on delivering excellent customer experiences and driving sales growth.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Implementing effective stock management controls to minimize waste and ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, profitability, and innovative ways to drive sales growth.
  • A proven ability to manage stock controls and adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
  • The capacity to identify training needs and provide coaching and training to all levels, ensuring teams deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain a safe work environment.
