Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team at PIB Employee Benefits. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving new business income through new client acquisition, primarily from converting leads provided by the Company but also from self-generated new business opportunities.

About the Role

This role requires travel and client visits on a weekly basis. You will work closely with our lead generation and customer service teams, as well as account management personnel within insurers and other providers. Your primary goal will be to negotiate premiums with the holding insurer and alternative insurers to obtain good value outcomes for customers in line with their requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business income through new client acquisition
  • Negotiate premiums with insurers to obtain good value outcomes for customers
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Financial Services market
  • Proven track record of successfully converting potential customer enquiries into sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Cert CII or willingness to study towards qualification
