About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Tudor Hotels Collection Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring top-tier food quality, and contributing to menu creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and presenting menu items to meet the highest standards according to the Head Chef's specifications
  • Refine menu plans, suggest improvements to existing dishes, and support budgeting efforts
  • Implement kitchen policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources
  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentoring kitchen staff and providing guidance and support

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity while maintaining the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
