About the Role

LEK is a global strategy consulting firm that uses deep industry expertise and rigorous analysis to help business leaders achieve practical results with real impact. We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Director to join our team in London.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in adult learning, instructional design, and training experience, preferably in a professional services environment. They will also have a proven track record of leading and developing direct reports, particularly managing a distributed team.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to set the direction for employee development at LEK. You will be responsible for developing the European Learning Programme, conducting training needs analysis, and ensuring on-time delivery of programmes. Additionally, you will manage stakeholders, including suppliers, and develop and oversee a significant learning budget.

You will be responsible for guiding the L&D team members in managing the direction of the curriculum, planning content design, teaching formats, timing by level, instructional methods, etc. You will also work with the L&D team to ideate and deliver train-the-trainer support to enable impactful learning experiences across different formats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing the European Learning Programme, including owning and managing the full learning experience across Europe
  • Conducting training needs analysis at all levels
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of programmes, enabling high participation and continuous improvement
  • Managing stakeholders, including suppliers, and developing and overseeing a significant learning budget
  • Guiding the L&D team members in managing the direction of the curriculum, planning content design, teaching formats, timing by level, instructional methods, etc.
  • Working with the L&D team to ideate and deliver train-the-trainer support to enable impactful learning experiences across different formats

We are offering a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
