The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Director to oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions at our manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the factory delivers quality products that meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, while meeting customer and consumer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure all products meet quality specifications before reaching the market.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations related to cosmetic manufacturing, including GMP and ISO 22716.
- Lead the quality team and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage the quality budget and ensure effective use of resources.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement program to improve process mastery and repeatability, and reduce non-quality costs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of site-based quality leadership experience within the cosmetics/consumer goods/medical device/pharmaceutical industry.
- Chemistry master's degree or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including ISO 22716 and statistical sampling rules.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive activity in others and manage a team.
