About the Department

The Quality Department is a key function within Coty, responsible for ensuring the quality of products from raw materials to finished goods. The team is organized into three parts: Quality Assurance, Finished Goods and Components, and Chemistry.

The Role

The Quality Director will oversee all quality assurance and control functions at the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage the quality team, and collaborate with other departments to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
  • Investigate consumer complaints and implement improvement actions
  • Manage the quality team and provide leadership and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance product quality and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Chemistry master's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in quality leadership within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including ISO 22716
  • Strong problem-solving and change management skills
  • Knowledge of bulk making, production packing processes, and filling techniques
