Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Richmond Harbour Hotel and Spa.

As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay with us.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Checking guest in and out, processing payments and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Maintaining high levels of revenue through upselling and room sales.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a busy commercial reception desk environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including check-in, check-out procedures and payment systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Punctuality, reliability and trustworthiness are essential qualities for this role.
