About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily care and support to individuals, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication
* Build meaningful relationships with the people we support, understanding their needs and preferences
* Assist with personal goals and aspirations, promoting independence and choice
* Support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies, such as outings, social events, and creative pursuits
Requirements:
* A valid full UK manual driving license is essential
* A calm, caring, and resilient nature, with the ability to thrive in challenging situations
* Comfortable driving alternative vehicles
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
