Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Haemodialysis Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership to the team and support them in delivering high-quality, effective, and evidence-based care.
  • Drive excellent clinical quality standards by focusing on patient experience, patient safety, and ensuring that standards are met for every patient, every time.
  • Supervise and develop clinical practice and professional standards of nursing staff, providing good leadership and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the unit manager to develop and implement service improvements and developments.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience at Band 5 or equivalent.
  • Working with a wide range of professionals.
  • Recognised teaching/assessing qualification.
  • Registered Nurse (Level 1).
  • Insight into clinical speciality.
  • Standards of professional practice.
