Railway Depot Technician

We are seeking a skilled Railway Depot Technician to join our team at Thames Composites. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of trains at our Bristol depot.
About the RoleThis is a contractor role that requires the successful candidate to work on site at our Bristol railway depot. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with tools, practical skills/experience working with electric hand tools, and basic general mechanical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- To work externally on trains removing damaged front valances and fitting new ones.
- To work on the interior of trains removing damaged seats and fitting newly repaired ones.
- To undertake professional training as deemed appropriate by the company.
- To organize one's own workload and work towards deadlines.
The minimum salary for this role is £120 per shift, with a minimum of three evening shifts required per week. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer access to a copy of the Company's policy documents and Procedure Manual, including Health & Safety and the complaints procedure.
