We are seeking a Railway Infrastructure Team Lead to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of warm storage team operations, ensuring that all customer requests are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

About the Role

The Railway Infrastructure Team Lead will be responsible for the daily management of the warm storage team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the required standard. The role will also involve implementing and maintaining safety systems and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the work planning coordination for the maintenance team.
  • Daily management of the warm storage team to ensure minimum service levels are achieved.
  • Responsible for managing Warm Storage team operations, activities, and personnel at the relevant depot and customer locations.
  • Carry out fitter duties to ensure minimum service levels are achieved.
  • Implement and maintain safety systems and production efficiency.
  • Assist with continuous improvement innovations.
  • Use of all PPE in accordance with standards and local instructions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Traction and Rolling Stock or a recognised apprenticeship.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
