We are looking for a skilled Arborist to join our team at CRP Group Global Ltd, focusing on vegetation management projects along railway corridors in the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of arboriculture, railway safety standards, and environmental regulations.

About the Job
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of trees and vegetation to identify areas requiring attention.
  • Develop and implement effective vegetation management strategies that meet railway safety requirements.
  • Execute tree pruning, removal, and planting tasks as necessary, minimizing disruptions to railway services.
  • Manage invasive species and promote native vegetation growth to enhance biodiversity.
  • Work collaboratively with railway engineers, environmental experts, and other stakeholders to achieve successful vegetation management outcomes.
Key Tasks:
  • Maintain precise records of vegetation assessments, maintenance activities, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures when working in railway environments.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on best practices in arboriculture and vegetation management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to arboriculture and railway operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Hold Arb qualifications, including CS30, CS31, and CS32
  • Possess CSCS, CPCS, NPORS certifications
  • Have PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
  • Demonstrate proven experience in arboriculture, particularly in railway or infrastructure environments
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and management techniques
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant safety regulations and environmental guidelines
  • Able to operate and maintain arboricultural equipment safely and effectively
  • Display excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Show strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to various project sites as needed
Salary Information:

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience
