Student Welfare Support Specialist

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated individual to support the well-being of students in an educational setting. This role involves providing first aid assistance and medical care to students and staff, maintaining accurate records of medical incidents and treatments, and liaising with parents, teachers, and external healthcare professionals as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid assistance and medical care to students and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of medical incidents and treatments.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Support students with health-related needs and concerns.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 First Aid training.
  • Experience working in schools or in a first aid capacity (e.g., nursing students, carers, etc.).
  • Reliability, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
