QA Limited is seeking a Student Support Specialist to provide advice, guidance, and information on personal, predominantly welfare and disability-related issues to students at each stage of the learner pathway.

The successful candidate will deliver student welfare services, including one-to-one appointments, workshops, events, accommodation advice, funding/financial advice, and student health advice.

  1. Deliver student welfare services, including one-to-one appointments, workshops, events, accommodation advice, funding/financial advice, and student health advice.
  2. Assist the safeguarding team by completing risk assessments and delivering training to staff.
  3. Ensure the provision of professional services (externally where necessary) to ensure students have access to appropriate support.
  4. Assess and make safeguarding referrals and provide appropriate support for students in immediate distress.

Bring Your Experience:

  1. Ability to be a credible source of guidance & support to academic & professional services colleagues on student issues that may evoke concern and risk.
  2. Proven track record of developing and/or implementing inclusive policy and practice in an organisational context.
  3. Experience in working in Higher Education.
  4. Developing & embedding good practice into service delivery.
  5. Up-to-date knowledge and experience of inclusion, disability, and diversity legislation and frameworks.
