- Provide effective support to students in a higher education setting.
- Work with students to identify strategies to help address barriers and to move towards independent learning.
- Assess a student's needs and establish an appropriate Individual Support Plan.
- Provide support that is student-specific, including activities such as time management, planning, coping with anxiety, and prioritizing workload.
- Follow Amano safeguarding, health and safety, lone working, and professional and personal boundaries policies.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with students with disabilities and/or people with mental health or ASC-related difficulties.
- Dyslexia Guild membership (fellow, associate, or member).
