Commercial Account Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Executive to join our team at Time Appointments Ltd. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial insurance market, with a strong knowledge of the full range of commercial insurance classes. They will also have a proven track record of identifying risks and proposing solutions, with a strong analytical approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
The role will involve successfully leading and managing a portfolio of existing client accounts, working closely with Client Executives to achieve new business targets and deliver comprehensive risk presentations to clients. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships at all levels, with a strong influencer and negotiator who can use initiative and take ownership of tasks.
The successful candidate will have a Cert CII qualification, with a strong understanding of the FCA's ICOBS rules. They will also have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to use these skills to create engaging and informative presentations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Successfully lead and manage a portfolio of existing client accounts in close collaboration with Client Executives.
- Work closely with the Finance and Commercial Director to engage in new business activity and achieve new business targets in accordance with the business plan.
- Carry out face-to-face client meetings with existing client accounts and new businesses to develop a strong understanding the clients' businesses, identify client demands and accurately identify gaps in cover and potential cross-sell/upselling opportunities.
- Collate and provide Client Executives with comprehensive meeting minutes and risk information
- Working in collaboration with Client Executives, deliver comprehensive and considered risk presentations to clients which meet identified demands and needs and address risk exposures
- Be a well-known and respected figure in the operating area with a presence in appropriate networking organisations
Skill & Qualifications Required:
- Experienced commercial broker with a deep understanding of the commercial insurance market and wide product knowledge across the full range of commercial insurance classes
- At least Cert CII qualified
- A proven risk manager with a strong track record of identifying risks and proposing solutions
- A proven leader who takes ownership and uses initiative
- Strong influencer and negotiator who maintains excellent working relationships at all levels
- Problem solver with a resourceful, collaborative and analytical approach
- Competent user of Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fully conversant with and competent in all aspects of the FCA's ICOBS rules
