Job Title: Account Director

Join our team at WTW and take on a challenging role as an Account Director. As a key member of our Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Practice, you will be responsible for providing risk and insurance solutions to large clients in the sector.

About the Role

The Account Director will be the central connection within WTW, bringing together our expertise and experience to deliver exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects, with accountability for retention and new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise to clients.
  • Identify primary budget holders and decision-makers within clients and establish active relationships.
  • Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies that meet clients' needs.
  • Grow existing portfolios by identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead supporting service teams and maintain effective working relationships with Claims Advocates.
  • Drive business development, placement management, and operational service delivery.
Requirements
  • Preferably education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Preferably with the addition of professional qualification of ACII or similar.
  • Strong practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools.
  • Experience in new business sales and track record of converting prospects to clients.
  • Skilled at building effective relationships with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists.
  • Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
