The Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Practice at WTW is a dedicated team providing risk and insurance solutions for large clients in the sector.
We serve clients across the full range of sub-sectors, including hoteliers, pubs, restaurants, venue attractions, gambling, and all areas of retail (online, fashion, grocery, etc.).
The Account Director role is to be the central connection within WTW, bringing the full range of our experience and expertise in delivering our service.
Our clients are customer-facing companies passionate about their organizations, and our team mirrors this enthusiasm in working with and for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients and prospects, with accountability for retention and new business development.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, growing the portfolio through targeting and converting prospects.
- Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise where required.
- Collaborate with specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group to deliver client needs.
- Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies that meet client needs and deliver profitable business.
- Lead supporting service teams and maintain effective working relationships with Claims Advocates.
- Preferably education to degree level or equivalent.
- Preferably with the addition of professional qualification of ACII or similar.
- Strong practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim.
- Experience in new business sales process and track record of converting prospects to clients.
- Skilled at building effective relationships with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists.
- Experience in managing clients with global programs.
- Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client services.
