Your new role with Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is an exciting opportunity to join a strong HR Service team located in Newcastle Upon Tyne working hybrid; 2 days on site while working closely with their other People functions within the organisation.
As an HR Assistant, you will work within the HR Service Team supporting the full employee lifecycle, while supporting the other HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the shared HR Inbox
- Providing first-line advice to HR Advisors, operational and transactional services
- Supporting the recruitment team with onboarding of new employees
- Supporting on the administration duties for salary changes, promotions, family leave, leave of absence, etc.
- Processing queries on family-friendly policies and benefits, including first-line discussions with employees to explain policy and procedure
- Ensuring the HR Database is kept up to date
To be successful in this role, you will require experience of the following:
- Experience working in a Shared service function or similar
- Strong HR Administration experience
- Understanding of HR administration of the full employee life-cycle events
- Able to produce HR reports from the HR System
