Business Development Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Sales Manager to join our client's busy distribution centre in the Southampton area. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in outbound sales and the ability to exceed expectations within their team whilst hitting targets and providing excellent customer service.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, with a total of 37.5 hours a week. Shift times are: 08:30am-17:00pm. Salary: up to £28,500 + Bonus.
Key Responsibilities- To assist in the achievement of branch sales, profit and customer service targets.
- Making outbound sales calls in accordance with the call diary to generate repeat orders, ensuring all orders are captured, and opportunities are taken to maximise sales and margin through range extensions, own brand etc.
- Growing and developing new and lapsed accounts within defined portfolio against targets working with other sales staff to achieve maximum potential.
- Dealing with customer issues/queries/requests for product and service information promptly, efficiently and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required.
