Job Description: Patient Pathway Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

The Patient Pathway Coordinator will be responsible for providing an efficient administrative service to General Surgery, working directly with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure compliance with 18 week referral to treatment (RTT) targets.
  • Monitor urgent investigation requests and process them accordingly.
  • Update patient details on Trust and departmental patient record systems.
  • Request and coordinate patient notes from other hospitals and organizations, as necessary.
