About the Role

As an Emotional and Behavioral Mentor at Protocol Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH in a full-time position at an SEMH school.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective behavioral intervention strategies to support students with SEMH
  2. Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions to enhance students' social and emotional skills
  3. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create individualized plans for students
  4. Monitor and track student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers

You will be required to have relevant qualifications or experience in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

Essential Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
  • Knowledge of SEMH and strategies for managing challenging behavior
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
