Learning Mentor for SEND Students

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Mentor to join our team. As a Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for providing learning support to students with special educational needs (SEND), helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement individualised plans that cater to the unique needs of each student. Your expertise and guidance will help students to build confidence, develop new skills, and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide learning support to students with SEND
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement individualised plans for students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Knowledge of interventions such as PECS and Makaton
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications (£18,000 - £25,000 per year)
