About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inclusive Learning Mentor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Autism Education Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to students with diverse needs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting Students with Diverse Needs: Providing 1-2-1 support to students with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
  2. Fostering a Nurturing Environment: Collaborating with the staffing team to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive setting.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Experience Working with Children: Essential for this role, as you will be working closely with students who require additional support.
  2. Compassionate and Patient Approach: A caring and patient approach is crucial when working with students who require additional support.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Necessary to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  4. Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities is vital in this role.

Additional Information:

  1. Salary Range: £85-100 per day (dependent on experience and performance).
  2. Contract Type: Permanent contracts available for the right candidate.
  3. Work Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available.
