Behaviour Mentor Opportunity in Yorkshire Schools

GSL Education - Yorkshire is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to provide vital support to students in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students facing behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities

As a Behaviour Mentor, your duties will include:

  • Assisting students in overcoming behavioural challenges and developing coping strategies.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Participating in Team Teach training to enhance your skills.

This full-time position comes with a competitive daily rate of £86-£100, plus access to professional development opportunities and free Team Teach training. Our Behaviour Mentors play a vital role in supporting students' personal and emotional development.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar capacity. A strong sense of empathy and dedication to helping students is essential.

All successful applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check and demonstrate a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
