Job Title: Behavioural Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide tailored support to students with complex needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in educational activities. This will involve developing and implementing individualised plans, collaborating with teachers and other professionals, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure understanding and implementation of support plans
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Knowledge of interventions such as PECS and Makaton
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
