Inmate Support Coordinator

The individual in this role will deliver a proficient and timely shopping and miscellaneous supply service to the inmate population, adhering to strict timelines in a dynamic setting.
They will meticulously gather and process individual requests through a systematic bagging and tagging procedure, ensuring the delivery of these orders to designated living areas.
The individual may also be tasked with covering the duties of the Inmate Payroll Administrative Assistant as directed by management.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the provision of a reliable grocery and shopping service in line with established schedules.
- Engage in manual handling tasks regularly within a warehouse-like environment.
- Verify canteen order sheets for precision and manage orders through an electronic sales processing system.
- Accurately select, charge on the till, and package inmate canteen requests in preparation for delivery to living quarters within set deadlines.
- Receive and verify weekly stock deliveries, entering data into inventory management software.
- Ensure effective stock oversight, including rotation and conducting physical inventory checks.
- Assist in the distribution of miscellaneous purchase items to housing units as necessary.
- As part of a versatile team, undertake additional tasks or provide relief coverage as instructed by the Deputy Finance Manager.

Evaluation of specific behaviors, of which there are eight, will be based on the role being applied for. While it is unlikely that all behaviors will be assessed, candidates will be evaluated on those deemed essential for the position.
QualificationsMinimum of two National 5 (or equivalent) qualifications, including English and Mathematics, or relevant experience - Essential.
Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceFamiliarity with inventory management and delivery processes - Essential.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications - Essential.
