Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Team Lead to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Supply Chain Operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Materials Planners and ensuring the smooth operation of our materials planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Materials Planners to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve materials planning processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and optimize production plans.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure accurate forecasting and minimize stockouts.
  • Provide training and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
