Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supporting Independence in Education professional. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with autism to develop their independence and life skills.

Academics provides a supportive and inclusive education setting, with a range of facilities including science laboratories, food technology rooms, and sensory spaces. Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students, and we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Main Tasks:

  1. Support students with autism to develop their life skills and independence
  2. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  3. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Key Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of autism/ASD and its impact on individuals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for advocating for students with autism

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Estimated Annual Salary: £88,750 (based on £80-£95 per day)
