About the Role:


We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to work with a child with additional needs as a Teaching Assistant in a school in Swindon. The successful candidate will provide support to the child on a 1:1 basis and work alongside the class teacher to ensure the child's learning needs are met.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional needs
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support the child's learning
  • Manage the behaviour of pupils in the classroom
  • De-escalate situations in the classroom and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to the school's referral procedures
