Swindon, Swindon, United Kingdom Protocol Education Full time

As a specialist education support professional, you will be working with children from across all key stages to support them with the aim of improved engagement with their learning. This role entails working on a 1:1 or small group basis with students who have Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) or Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH). While experience in an education setting may be beneficial, it is not essential.

This list is not exhaustive, so if you are keen to kickstart your career in education, please get in touch. You do not need to hold any formal teaching/learning support qualifications, but you must feel comfortable supporting students with their learning.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, deal with situations calmly and sensitively, and have a collaborative approach, working closely with other staff and families. They will care deeply about pupils' academic, emotional, and personal development and use their initiative in meeting the needs of the student, depending on their individual communication and learning skills.

In return, Protocol Education can offer competitive rates of pay, flexible or guaranteed work available to suit your needs, FREE continued professional development training (CPD) including Team Teach, ongoing honest, friendly, and professional support from our dedicated team of experts, and a £50 bonus if you introduce someone new to Protocol Education as a thank you.
