Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at SF Recruitment (Birmingham) Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, income and receipts, and entering data into accounting software or databases.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Xero and be comfortable hitting the ground running with the following duties:

  • Processing financial transactions and managing cash flow
  • Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
  • Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors

Additionally, the successful candidate will develop monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets. This is an exciting role where you can take ownership and work in a family feel owner managed SME business.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum. Flexible hours are available for this permanent role.
