Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our team at Reconomy.

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all visitors, customers, and employees. Your primary duties will include greeting and welcoming visitors, answering and directing phone calls, maintaining the reception area, and overseeing day-to-day office upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable, as well as overseeing day-to-day office upkeep to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Manage appointment schedules and room bookings.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry.
  • Provide general information to visitors and answer their queries.
  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary.
  • Coordinate daily dispatch of packages with courier services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, and squash, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure that all necessary refreshments are provided for meetings when requested.

Requirements:

  • Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

Additional job information:

This is a part-time position, 30 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
