We are recruiting for a highly skilled Scrub and Recovery Professional to join our team at Appoint Healthcare's private hospital in South Kent.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of UK theatre experience, preferably across both scrub and recovery. They will be responsible for planning and preparing theatre lists, working across scrub and recovery for patients undergoing various surgeries, and maintaining the safe custody of medications and controlled drugs.

Our private hospital is situated in a beautiful location near Cranbrook and is a bright and modern service. We have achieved an OUTSTANDING rating on our recent CQC report and pride ourselves on providing expert care from consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare theatre lists
  • Work across scrub and recovery for patients undergoing a variety of surgeries
  • Accurately enter patient information on IT systems
  • Ensure patient care areas are safe and fit for purpose
  • Maintain the safe custody of medications and controlled drugs

Requirements:

  • NMC / HCPC registered with no restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 1 year UK theatre experience ideally across both scrub and recovery
  • SFA qualification desirable
  • Scrub experience in a range of surgical specialties
  • Strong communication skills

Salary: £39,000 - £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
