About the Role

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team, working on the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) contract in Scotland.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for valuing works using a Schedule of Rates and reconciling costs at a district and team level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer contract records and entitlements
  • Assist in managing sub-contract payments and negotiations
  • Collate accurate information for cost/value reconciliations and contract reviews
  • Audit and reconcile measurements against systemised actuals
  • Generate weekly cost/value reports and target cost agreements
  • Produce financial and statistical reports as required
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a similar role
  • Preferably degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant business discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • UK driving licence
