Job Title: Apprentice Structural Engineer

At EH20 Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety documentation and reports.
  • Conduct tower analysis and re-analysis of existing models using MS Tower.
  • Build and analyze structures using MS Tower, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and review strengthening designs, and approve straightforward schemes.
  • Carry out bespoke designs, including hand calculations and appraisals.
  • Act as lead engineer on project-related work, ensuring health and safety and site work are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including technical, planning, and commercial aspects.
  • Ensure project cost control, maximizing profit while staying within budget.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in telecommunications, steelwork, or bridges.
  • Experience reviewing GDCs and completing structural calculations.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to become part of a dynamic team.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and plan projects.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and ability to identify process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly.
