Health and Safety Manager

Hays Health & Safety is working with a leading Manufacturing business to recruit a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and practical HSE Manager to drive and maintain the highest standards of safety within the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the business is compliant with the latest HSE legislation and standards
- Manage all internal risks and identify solutions
- Carry out site inspections and internal audits
- Manage all H&S related KPIs and measure performance
- Carry out risk assessments and support internal stakeholders with best practice and documentation management
- Manage all HSE obligations
- Report to the SLT on all HSE updates and performance
The successful candidate will be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified and have IEMA or an equivalent Environmental level qualification. They will also have experience working within technical, manufacturing, or engineering environments and a strong passion for safety.
About the BusinessHays Health & Safety is working with a highly established and niche Manufacturing business to recruit a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. The business is looking for a technically minded, hands-on, and analytical HSE Manager to join their team.
