Pension Scheme Administration Opportunity

An experienced Senior Pensions Administrator is needed to administer SSAS pension schemes for our client's established organisation in York. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career advancement and competitive basic salary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheme establishment/takeover
  • Preparing Accounts, Valuations and fund splits
  • Opening scheme bank accounts
  • Transfers
  • Contributions
  • Tax reclaims & Relief at Source, Invoices
  • HMRC reporting
  • Dealing with bank borrowing
  • General Scheme Investments
  • VAT Registration, Returns and De Registration
  • Benefit Calculations
  • Property Purchase/Sale/Lease
  • Rent invoicing and monitoring
  • Dealing with The Pensions Regulator and Information Commissioner Registration and Returns
  • Background research on scheme issues
  • Spotting potential issues e.g. lack of cash for pensions

Requirements include previous SSAS or SIPP pensions experience, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy. We offer enhanced holidays, Hybrid working, Private health insurance, Share incentives, Death in service and Cycle to work scheme. Salary: £38,000 per annum.
