About the Role
A Food Preparation Specialist at BRIO Retirement Living will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food to our high standards in a clean and hygienic environment. This is a part-time role requiring 16 hours per week, working on Wednesdays (11:30am-3:30pm), Fridays (5:00pm-9:00pm), and Sundays (11:30am-3:30pm). The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting, knowledge of food hygiene, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist chefs during busy services as required to ensure a positive customer experience
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in accordance with company standards
* Prepare and present food to the required standard
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
* Knowledge of food hygiene principles and practices
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
