We are seeking applications from North-East based candidates who wish to take on a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Town Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consultancy and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects across the UK.

About the Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering major residential and mixed-use urban extensions, as well as identifying new development opportunities. You will work closely with other specialists in the consultancy, including socio-economic, heritage, master-planning, design, and architectural experts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, with experience in local government, consultancy, or the development industry. You will have excellent writing skills and an eye for detail, as well as being a driven, committed, and enthusiastic team player.

Requirements
  • RTPI accredited degree or relevant planning qualification.
  • MRTPI chartership (or working towards).
  • Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally within local government, consultancy, or development industry, with a record of key involvement in the application process.
  • Previous experience in strategic planning / land ideal.
