Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our dynamic and enthusiastic Cardiac Catheter Lab team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Our team provides diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high standards of nursing practice and care for patients prior to, during, and following procedures.
  • Assist the day-to-day running of the Cardiac Catheter Lab and Recovery Area.
  • Support clinicians during diagnostic and investigative procedures.
  • Pre-assess patients, provide education and information specific to their procedures, and contribute to an effective learning environment.
  • Participate in own continual professional development and contribute to the team's ongoing learning and growth.

Person Specification
  • At least two years' post-registration experience.
  • Experience in acute cardiology is desirable.
